Passages: Events and Projects!

The Passages initiative, led by AJC, FNEIJMA, and Grands Formats, aims to promote equality and inclusion in jazz and improvised music.

Through a gender-diverse artistic and professional mentoring program, it supports female musicians in developing their careers and artistic projects.

For several months now, IMEP, in partnership with the Pavillon de la Sirène, has been participating in this initiative thanks to the dedication of mentors Delphine Deau and Orelle Soyeux. They are mentoring four musicians: Eliza Nirlu and Adèle Mistrin, singers and pianists; Rozann Bézier, a jazz trombonist; and Juliette Weiss, a double bassist.

Over the next few weeks, the mentees will share the results of this work through a series of professional meetings and showcase concerts.
