The IMEP will be welcoming saxophonist Tim Hayward for a masterclass on 24 April from 2pm to 4pm.

Timothy Hayward was born and raised in Paris, France. He is a graduate of the Conservatoire Régional de Paris, the University of Paris and the Conservatoire National de Paris. He began playing professionally at the age of 18, performing classical, jazz and contemporary music, including repertoire for ballet and theatre.
His career has taken him all over Europe and the United States. He divides his time between teaching and working as a professional musician, leading his own groups and playing as a sideman for others.
Timothy Hayward moved to the New York area in 2010 and has been a band director in the Clifton School District in New Jersey since 2012. He is an active composer and arranger in both classical and jazz. In addition, Tim Hayward is on the faculty of The Juilliard School and William Paterson University, and is co-director of the Rutgers Summer Jazz Institute.
