Orelle Soyeux

Singing teacher

Orelle Soyeux joined Frédérike Borsarello-Tressalet’s vocal jazz workshop at the CRR in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés at the age of 14. In 2017, she completed a Bachelor of Neuroscience & Music at Bishop’s University (Canada), where she perfected classical singing, musical theatre and choral singing, as well as classical piano with Ross Osmun & Melinda Enns. She then obtained her Masters in Music Psychology from the Université de Montréal in the BRAMS research laboratory (International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research). She is also a member of the Université de Montréal jazz choir directed by Vincent Morel.

Returning to France after 6 years in Canada, Orelle joined IMEP and obtained his undergraduate degree. Since then, she has been busy writing her very first solo album alongside IMEP students and alumni. Singer, pianist, author and composer, she also performs in cabarets accompanying various creatures (La Nouvelle Ève, Le Consulat Voltaire, Le Hasard Ludique, Cabaret la Bouche).
