Michael Felberbaum

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he moved to Paris in 1995 and has played and recorded with American artists such as : Marc Copland, Johnny Griffin, Steve Lehman, Lee Konitz, Glenn Ferris, George Brown, Sunny Murray, Sam Newsome, Steve Potts… ainsi qu’avec de nombreux musiciens européens: Stefano Di Battista, Stéphane Belmondo, Aldo Romano, Emmanuel Bex, Pierrick Pedron, Pierre de Bethmann, Jeannette Lindstrom, Elisabeth Kontomanou, Benjamin Koppel, Thomas Encho, Jean-Michel Pilc, Hervé Sellin, Baptiste Herbin, François and Louis Moutin, Vincent Artaud, Toufic Farroukh, Volunteered Slaves, St Germain…

He has put his talents as a composer to good use in a number of duo and trio projects, including a trio with Emmanuel Bex and Aldo Romano. Since 2004 he has set up several projects under his own name. For his latest album 3Elements, out in January 2019 on the Fresh Sound New Talent label, he is joined by Frederic Borey and Leonardo Montana.
