Drums teachers
Chloé Denis trained at the Conservatoire d’Aulnay-sous-Bois, where she obtained her DEM in classical percussion in 2017. She went on to study drums with a number of teachers and then at the IMEP Paris College of Music, from which she graduated in June 2019.
She took up the souba and other brass instruments in 2017 as part of a series of New Orleans brass band workshops (run by the Villes des Musiques du Monde association) aimed at a diverse group of young people and teenagers who had never played music before. This project led him to perform in New Orleans in 2018, notably at Jazz Fest.
This multi-instrumentalist participates in several projects ranging from modern jazz to pop/rock or composition and drums within her band Eclipse which is part of the Parisian collective “Hira” launched in 2021.
