The IMEP choir resumes in September under the direction of Orelle Soyeux, singing teacher at the IMEP and former student of the school!
The choir’s programme is suitable for all levels and all voices. It involves learning three arrangements per term. Two concerts are organised, in mid-December and at the end of the year.
Classes take place 2 hours a week on Thursday evenings between 6pm and 8pm from September to June.
Warm-up exercises, polyphonic arrangements, using your voice as an instrument, adapting your sound to the ensemble…
Taking part in this choir will help you to improve your sight-reading, discover examples of standards arranged polyphonically and develop your interpretation and vocal cohesion as part of a group.
