In between preparations for end-of-year concerts, here are a few news items from the IMEP network not to be missed.
Cannes 2023 selection
Former IMEP guitarist Robinson Senpauroca is composing the music for Joanna Arnow’s feature film The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed, which has been selected for the Cannes Film Festival’s Quinzaine des Cinéastes!
Group of student musicians
Georgie Brown, Zara Asatrian and Selen Karlikaya, student singers in the First Cycle, form the trio Confessions. They will be opening for ForeverMax, another of the school’s students, this Thursday at the Bar des Disquaires.

IMEP student pianist Constantin de Massé plays a ragtime version of Edith Piaf’s Parisian classic
International student collaboration
London Groove Factory: IMEP students Nicolas Chua and Maxime Odokine team up with BIMM Institute students to perform Charles Aznavour’s La Bohème.
Summer festival
The band Spoink, featuring IMEP alumnus Raphaël Milovanovic, will be playing at the Rock en Seine festival on 27 August.
Auditions open in September
The last dates for auditions to join the IMEP in 2023-2024 will be 2 and 7 September 2023, then you’ll have to wait until next year!
