New academic year 25-26: Luca Spiler, new professor at IMEP
Trombonist Luca Spiler will be joining the IMEP team in September!
He will take over from Peter Giron in the third year and will teach music theory. We wish him a very happy and successful year!

Returning to IMEP after so many years, it was truly wonderful to see how the school and its students have developed. It is a place full of energy, and I am delighted to be able to contribute in some small way to this wonderful evolution!

My goal is to give my students the musical and professional tools they need to succeed in today’s music scene, and to instil in them the ambition and motivation necessary to achieve their musical goals.

Luca Spiler

Born in Australia, Luca moved to Paris twelve years ago to pursue his career. He holds a Master’s degree in Jazz from the Paris Conservatoire (CNSM) and has played with some of Europe’s best jazz orchestras, such as the ONJ and the Metropole Orkest.

Luca is also very active on the current music scene and has performed alongside many major French and international artists such as Ben l’Oncle Soul, Kimberose, Véronique Sanson, The Temptations, The Four Tops, MC Solar and Lady Gaga.
