IMEP – Paris College of Music invites you to a masterclass with Rayanne Dupuis, soprano and singing teacher, on Tuesday 7 November from 7-9pm in Studio B at the school.

 

Workshop: Vocal technique for instrumentalists
What is this mysterious instrument that is the voice? This workshop invites you to gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of vocal function and the imperatives for healthy, expressive vocal production.what is the voice?
Group exercises will enable you to discover alignment, opening and breathing techniques to optimise the use of your voice.
The masterclass is open to all instrumentalists. The masterclass is free for IMEP students.

Canadian-born soprano Rayanne Dupuis holds a Master of Music degree from Yale University and a doctorate from SUNY Stony Brook (USA). She has performed at the opera houses of Basel (Switzerland), Toronto, Edmonton (Canad She has been a guest with major symphony orchestras such as the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester, the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the symphony orchestras of the BBC, RTE (Dublin), Helsinki, Porto, Pays de Loire and RAI (Milan). Rayanne now passes on her infectious energy and passion for singing in all its forms through vocal technique and repertoire courses.
