IMEP : Georgie Brown album release

Nov 21, 2023 | Cycle Pro, Elèves / anciens élèves, IMEP

IMEP favourite: Georgie Brown, a student in her third year of the Professional Cycle at IMEP, will be releasing her debut album My Gramps was a Jazzman on 17 November!

Young Franco-British singer-songwriter Georgie Brown presents her first jazz album of her own compositions, entitled My Gramps Was A Jazzman.

Georgie draws inspiration from the languages and experiences that have helped define her life up to now. She incorporates swing and bossa nova into a project influenced by artists such as Diana Krall and Stacey Kent.

She is surrounded by the musicians from her quartet, with whom she already performs regularly: Olivier Oliver on piano, Jean-Hugues Billman on bass and double bass, and Eric Bourciquot on drums and percussion. Sebastián Muñoz IMEP graduate of 2023

The tracks are available to listen to on all platforms and the album is available for pre-order :https://bfan.link/music-to-me
