Legendary trombonist GLENN FERRIS has played a wide variety of jazz styles throughout his career, alongside such iconic artists as Frank Zappa, Stevie Wonder, Billy Cobham, Steve Lacy, Philly Joe Jones, Marital Solal, Henri Texier, Michel Petrucciani, Archie Shepp and many more. He has also led numerous personal musical projects featuring his prolific original compositions, ranging from trios to big bands, and from acoustic to electric music.
This new quartet, “NEWTET”, is his first project and first concert in Paris since before the Covid period, and this music reflects the extremely creative period he enjoyed during the Covid years.
