Winner of the 2022 Sunside Awards, pianist and composer Ilan Elbaz presents his debut album Beyond The Door. Widely acclaimed by audiences and the press (TT Télérama, Révélation Jazz Magazine, Buzz Jazz News), he returns to the Sunside stage to present his brand new project, the Ilan Elbaz Quartet.

Alongside him are three musicians with a distinctive style: Jorge Vistel (trumpet), Emmanuel Sunee (double bass) and Arnaud Bichon (drums). Together, they explore a modern jazz style rich in contrasts, where composition leaves plenty of room for improvisation and interaction.
They unveil a repertoire of original compositions and covers that become a playground and a field of exploration, with multiple influences, between impressionistic harmonies, intense rhythmic ostinatos and improvisation traversing minimalist landscapes or those rich in colour and energy.
