Chris Blue Trio / Sunbase at 2 pianos
CHRIS BLUE is not your stereotypical American with a guitar. In France since 2022, he has been studying jazz at renowned music schools such as IMEP and the American School of Modern Music. Today, he is interested in one thing and one thing only: reviving the jazz of yesteryear, in the style of Barry Harris and Grant Green, through the prism of the “Organ Trio.” Devoted to hard bop, jazz blues, post-bop, and be-bop, he prefers the clear, colorful sound of a guitar played through a huge amplifier. For him, France is the best place in the galaxy, and he hopes to build something great here.
Then music, ethereal, energetic, and captivating, a fusion of 60s and 70s groove and contemporary techno sounds.
SunBase: a dreamlike soundscape created by five musicians working in synergy: Racim Boughrara (bass), Sullivane Albertini (keyboards), Maxime Leguyader (drums), Jean-Michel Gras (guitar), and Harold Codant (trumpet).
