Julie Erikssen

Julie Erikssen started playing classical piano at the Brest Conservatoire at the age of 5, went on stage at the age of 13 and signed her first recording contract with Sony Music at just 19 (under the pseudonym ‘Jody’). She sings on the biggest stages (such as the Accor Arena or the Eiffel Tower in front of 300,000 people) and travels the television studios (she made a notable appearance on The Voice 3 France in 2014 in the teams of Florent Pagny and then Jenifer).

But it was to elegant traditional jazz that she turned, guided by masters such as Franck Amsallem and Laurent Courthaliac, and in which she has excelled on the Parisian and international scene for over 10 years. She has collaborated with a number of renowned artists (Manu Katché, Ali Jackson, Aaron Goldberg, to name but a few) who have been impressed by her high standards, her authenticity and her extra soul.
