Does IMEP provide student accommodation?
IMEP is a partner of Foyer Tolbiac, a residential facility for young adults that offers rooms for musicians. All information can be found at foyer-tolbiac.fr.
Where to stay in Paris/the Paris suburbs?
It is not easy to find accommodation in Paris. Paris is usually more expensive than the suburbs. Depending on the location, expect to pay between £450 and £720 per month for a studio flat.
Beware of scams! Never pay rent in advance and make sure you sign a rental agreement.
How to get around Paris and the Ile-de-France region?
If you are under 26, you can apply for an imagine’R pass from the RATP, which will allow you unlimited travel throughout the Ile-de-France region.
For those over 26, the RATP offers the Navigo pass.
Can I get a discount on public transport?
If you are in the Professional program, you will benefit from student status, enabling you to apply for the student fare on public transport.
