How to apply to IMEP?

Admission to IMEP takes place in three stages:

Audition: To join IMEP, you must complete the audition registration form Several dates are available throughout the year, starting in January. and until September. We advise you to audition as soon as possible. during the year to avoid the risk of being refused due to lack of space.

Admission: Following the audition, we will contact you to inform you of your eligibility.

Registration: Once your pre-registration proposal has been accepted, you can register by mail between July and September. IMEPFinal enrolment and access to the course are only granted once the full annual tuition fees have been paid.

As a beginner, can I take the audition?

IMEP auditions are open to any candidate who can demonstrate at least one year of experience in the field. year of self-taught or accompanied instrumental practice. One year p A preparatory course is available for pupils who need to prepare for entry into the first year of vocational education.

Is it possible to enter directly into the 2nd or 3rd year?

What is the minimum age for admission to IMEP?

How long does the audition last?

The total duration of the audition is between 30 and 40 minutes. The audition includes: a 15-minute theory test, a 10-minute music theory test, a 2- to 3-minute performance on your instrument, and a discussion with the teachers present.

What should I bring to the audition?

On the day of the audition, you must bring your own instrument (except for drummers and pianists).
