Eldegée: Laura Operti’s trio

Pianist Laura Operti receives her undergraduate degree from the IMEP in 2022. Since then, she has devoted herself full-time to her trio Eldegée. With a recent first win in the final of the So Jam springboard organised by the Issy-Vanves Conservatoire and the Réacteur music production studio, and a series of concert dates throughout the summer, this young group is off to a flying start!

A.K.O with Edouard Jacquot

Akata Kolo Orchestra or A.K.O is an orchestra of nine musicians united around Affrobeat music. Composed mainly of musicians from the Conservatoire de Gennevilliers, saxophonist Edouard Jacquot, a graduate of the IMEP Class of 2021 joins the gang! They’re currently in the middle of a fundraising campaign to produce their EP, so get out there and give them a hand!

Since 2014 : Alone in the crowd

Alone In The Crowd, with Romann Drode on guitar and Alexandre Esposito on drums, are an instrumental post-rock duo from Paris. They met at IMEP – Paris College of Music in 2014. After becoming friends nine years later, they combined their solo projects to create their first album, Away from It All, a work of bubbling energy and rich harmonies.
