The 32nd Tremplin Jazz Avignon is now open. Applications can be submitted until March 15, 2024.<\/h4>\n

The competition is designed to promote young musicians under 35 and young jazz bands. It is open to European groups, from duo to sextet, expressing themselves in the field of jazz and improvised music. <\/p>\n

Selection will be made by a jury of performing arts professionals (organizers, musicians, press professionals) according to the following criteria: musicality of the ensemble, mastery of the instrument, cohesion of the group.<\/p>\n

The Grand Prix du Tremplin Jazz d’Avignon 2024 includes :<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Opening act for a concert at the next edition of the Avignon Jazz Festival, for which the Tremplin Jazz association
covers accommodation and travel expenses<\/p>\n

To which are added :<\/p>\n

– An additional prize of 150 euros per musician, awarded on completion of the musical performance described above.<\/p>\n

– Recording of an album in a studio: Three days of recording at the Studios, (recording ) in the year following the release of the album.
following their participation in the Tremplin and their performance in the next edition.<\/p>\n

Other prizes will be awarded: Best Instrumentalist Prize – Audience Prize – Best Composition Prize<\/p>\n
