He stayed there for 4 years, during which time he met Pat Metheny and played with many musicians &#8211; Christian Scott, Esperanza Spalding, Warren Wolf, Lionel Loueke&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The<span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/166b88b0-6c26-11e3-85b1-00144feabdc0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Financial Times<\/a><span> <\/span>describes him as a \u00ab world class \u00bb musician. Jazz Wise calls him a \u201cbrilliant improviser\u201d. As leader, he recorded four albums, all very well received by the press. \u201cChoc\u201d for Jazz Magazine, \u201cIndispensable\u201d for Jazz News&#8230; with world-renowned jazz musicians such as Ben Wendel, Walter Smith, Seamus Blake, Matt Brewer&#8230; In conclusion, his knowledge of tradition and his ability to adapt to both traditional and more modern contexts make him a sought-after sideman.<\/p>\n<h5>Manuel Rocheman<\/h5>\n<p>To begin with : C.N.R de Paris with Alberto Neuman. Jazz with Michel Sardaby and Martial Solal. His first CD, \u201cTrio Urbain\u201d, was awarded the Prix Boris Vian by the Acad\u00e9mie du Jazz in 1991. But also the Django d&#8217;Or for his second album \u201cWhite Keys\u201d in 1992. And finally, in 1998, he was awarded the Prix Django Reinhardt by the Acad\u00e9mie du Jazz, for best musician of the year. Professor of jazz piano in the postgraduate programme at the Nadia and Lili Boulanger Conservatory, Paris 9th arrondissement, guest professor at the CMDL &#8211; Didier Lockwood Music
