The Positif Messengers Jam, hosted by Jessy Elsa Palma, is coming to the Petite Halle on Thursday 1 May 2025 from 8.30pm!

Jessy Elsa Palma is a leading voice in contemporary jazz, who doesn’t just follow the beat: she reinvents it! Steeped in gospel sounds from an early age, African rhythms, soulful vibes and the elegance of jazz, she takes us on a musical journey rich in emotion and surprises. A passionate self-taught musician, Jessy Elsa Palma has honed her talent playing with musicians from the four corners of the globe, from the warm scenes of Cameroon to the ultra-selective jazz clubs of the United States. On stage, her performances are bursting with energy, originality and infectious passion. The artist is also founder of the Positif Messengers association since 2019, a collective whose mission is to enable everyone to explore their creativity. The Positif Messengers Jam is the perfect space to develop your creativity. They take place in two parts:

– The first part features original compositions by local artists. It’s a way of showcasing their work and giving them a stage on which to express themselves.

– The second part is up to you! The space is entirely dedicated to improvisation. All the artists, whatever their level, can freely exchange and express themselves together on stage. It’s a real immersion in a real musical laboratory, where you can hone your skills, develop your listening skills, explore new musical styles and meet new talent! For this first evening, the opening concert will be given by members of the collective, a team of exceptional musicians:
