Olivier Pinto, acclaimed double bassist and composer, won Second Prize in the Sunside Trophies 2024/2025 for Horizon, the debut album from his Parisian quartet. This introspective project, inspired by his move from Marseille to Paris, blends jazz and electronic textures in a dreamlike universe. Through haunting melodies and hypnotic rhythms, Horizon evokes a world where technology and nature coexist, creating an immersive soundscape. With Aurore, recorded in January 2025 and expected before the summer, the quartet is refining its identity between contemporary jazz and experimentation.
