“Olgha” Nkweti is a singer-songwriter from the English-speaking part of Cameroon. Olgha was born on 3 March 1988 in the North West region with paternal roots in Awing and maternal roots in Mankon. She is one of four children, including two sisters. She started singing professionally at the age of 17 and made a name for herself by creating covers of popular songs in Pigdin English, but she also writes her own moving Afro-pop compositions.
