A rhythmic time, calm or syncopated, during which the audience, hanging on my every word, can (re)discover stories in the history of jazz, celebrate its heroes AND ESPECIALLY its heroines; highlight the women who have left their mark on the history of this music and those who are its cousins. And, if I ever run out of things to say, and the public wants to join me in chatting, Bavard’Jase will be all the better for it.

Let’s celebrate together, from the roots up; the spirit of jazz and that of all its musical cousins.
