TERMS OF REGISTRATION 
REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN EVALUATION:
You can fill out our online registration form for an entry evaluation through which you will inform us of your evaluation request (without any commitment on your part) and choose among the dates offered. In case of a malfunction or technical problems, please contact the school secretary at +33 (0)1 46 04 90 87.
Evaluation:
This allows us to determine your entry level and your expectations at IMEP, in order to offer a placement in accordance with your request, your level, and your schedule.
Three main criteria will be examined:
- General music knowledge: written test over intervals, scales, and chords, knowledge, or lack thereof, of music theory concepts.
- Instrumental level: audition (a piece of your choice).
- Interview with the program professors: your motivations, expectations, and times available.
PRE-REGISTRATION:
After confirming your eligibility, you will be invited to pre-register in order to reserve your place until final registration. Certification of your eligibility at IMEP allows you to organize your schedule for the upcoming year smoothly. Students who wish to pre-register must pay a deposit in the amount of €750. Pre-registration is non-refundable, except for applicants pre-registered for the preparatory class who fail the Baccalaureate (upon presentation of a receipt) and deduction of administrative fees of €75.
FINAL REGISTRATION:
This takes place in September by appointment with the secretary before classes begin.
